i have hazel eyes with pale skin and dark brown hair.

I use a dark brown eyeliner on the top lis only, with a gold and pink eyeshadow. I put the pink eye shadow all over my eye lid, and up by my eye brow, then the gold on the crease and on my lower lid underneath my eye, with covergirl mascara for hazel eyes, it has gold tint in the mascara. it makes your eyes pop and its not alot of make up. Oh and bronzer is a must I use it everyday, get the browner bronzer, not the orange, for obvious reasons lol.

    - good luck with your baby!!! hope i was of some help =]Does anyone have any beauty tips or make up tips for a dark brown haired, hazel eyed girl with light skin?
hey this time around the body goes through a lot of hormonal changes and therefore some glow and some get pigmented...but wait for the baby to be born and you will see the natural glow in you...you can use natural makeup now...the organic stuff...earthy colors look good with the brown tones. For more details check this site....
Get your self a nice moisturizer...and a highlighter! You will look so refreshed and glowy! Also I have the same hair, eyes, and complexion that you described and I noticed that purples look great with my eyes....just a light wash of color will be just enough to make you eye color POP!
    ha ha sounds like me

Im light skinned, hazel eyes and dark brown hair

    Go out in the sun,

nothing works better than a glowing tan

make up is fine, but start with a nice tan from the sun

that will always make you feel better

good luck with your baby !

Always cleanse %26amp; moisturise day and night. It doesnt have to be expensive brands (for instance I have been using St Ives cleanser %26amp; exfoliator for years and Johnsons 24 hour moisturiser %26amp; my skin is always glowing! )

Exfoliate your skin twice a week %26amp; use a deep conditioner on your hair once a week.

Less is nore in regards to makeup. The top foundation makeup artists use is Mac Face and Body, as it is very natural but makes your skin look amazing. This is a good investment as no-one in their right mind wants an orange face!

Also drink plenty water and get enough sleep.

For spots, use a tiny bit of tea tree oil on the spot morning and night until it is dried up, and do not touch it apart from then.

Hope this was helpful! I buy and use A LOT of beauty products and my mum gives me lots of advice on tricks of the trade. What are the best beauty tips/secrets you know?

A honey facial once a week.

Using warmed organic honey and your fingers or a brush, massage this sticky exfoliating goo onto your face. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and then wash off with warm water.

It helps to tone the skin like witch hazel, it helps to clean the pores and it treats and prevents acne.

    1. Don't smudge eyeliner

    2. Use lip gloss, not lipstick

    3. Blackhead scrub by Clean and clear

    Less is more.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    It's sexy to have confidence.

    Moisturize!!
Always use a foundation brush as opposed to your fingers!! It looks so much better and doesnt go everywhere,

also to always wash brushes weekly.
rinse ur hair in cold water to make it sooper soft!

and honey and milk mixed together get rid of pimples

ans icant remember anymore but i have lots lol
Drink lots of water, eat healthy foods, exercise and get plenty of rest.
Less is more, (which does not mean no make up), just make it look natural

What are some beauty tips that can help me to put on make up?

hey guys its kara and i need a little help. i put on make up every morning before i go to school. i feel like im not putting it on right and some people tell me to wipe it off. i know how to use it its just its not esay for me! does anyone have any tips they can give me to make my make up noticible and clean but at the same time make it look like im not to girly and have to much on???What are some beauty tips that can help me to put on make up?
To keep it clean and simple:

*use a tinted moisturiser as close to your skin tone as possible so it will look really fresh and as if you're wearing nothing to cover your skin.

    *mascara in brown/black.

*a little bit of blusher (blusher isn't made so you can see that you're wearing it, it's made to give you a healthy glow).

*lipgloss in any colour you like but not too strong.

I think that's enough to wear in school, it's quick to put on in the morning and you can keep the special make-up for weekends or after school.

    Good luck ,'-)

*if you want to make it a bit more noticeable you could also wear a slightly shimmering light/medium brown eyeshadow just to cover your eyelids but don't put it above the crease. What are some beauty tips that can help me to put on make up?
I would get Bare Minerals powder foundation. I use it, and I have freckles, plus very light, pale skin. I use Bare Minerals, it covers so good! I don't need to blend it in to my neck or anything, because it covers, plus it blends in itself! It really does work, and I get it from Sephora. I have a hard time with liquid makeup because I can never get it to blend in, or get the right color for my skin tone. Then, just add a little blush, lip gloss, and eye makeup if you would like, and that's it!
Well, first of all, you need to pick the right eyeliner. I am a brown person. So brown or black? Then you need to get the ones w/ da smuger on the one side and smuge it along the small area around where u would put ur eyeliner on. It gives it a softer not as BOLD feel. And get a clump free mascara. And depending on ur eye color is the color eye shadow. ALWAYS apply the darker side closer to ur eyelashes ( not ON them) and if u do a lighter shade do A way lighter. I don't reccomend it tho. Blush... ehh. Not really needed. As for lip liner, do a softer shade. A shade that is close to your lip color ( or the gloss/lipstick ur putting on). DO NOT over do ur make up. Make sure it's a soft thing. If u do like a RED or a WHITE eye shadow... u'll look like a clown. And trust me, I don't want u to look like that. Good Luck and that's all u need to kno.
    http://www.wikihow.com/Apply-Makeup

heres a website that will tell you everything you need to know!
What kind of eyeliner do you wear? If it's black, try changing to navy blue, and do it ';the french'; way. Which means put it on the little sliver of skin in between your lower eyelashes, and your actual eye. Use very light colored foundation that still matches your skin ( Liquid, then powder) and use a brush, not the little fluffy pad thing that comes in the case of powder. eye shadows like light brown, pastels like light pink, and VERY light green, and maybe nude colored will be noticeable, but not too the point where people are telling you to take it off. Light pinkish lipstick and some clear lipgloss will add some shimmer, but again, NOT TOO MUCH....no blush! blush makes you look fake, try rouging your cheeks, it's an old technique used in the 1800's and early 1900's for a quick natural pinkish look on your cheeks. what you do is pinch your cheeks and kind of rub them. Look it up. 1 coat of mascara should be just fine, and if you have a lash curler, 5-8 seconds of curling should defiantly be enough. I normally just puton eyeliner, lipgloss, and mascara for school, but for a night on the town, you can go as far as you want to or you can still look pretty with everything on.
a beutician thot me how to apply make uo properly.... Moisterizer 15mins befor....

then rite before agen and dab exess off with tissue

    then get a good foundation

that matches your skin tone and texture.

    dab it onto your hand

and apply it in circuler motions with your fingers or a sponge untill its even everywher...

if you think its ok leav it

if not dab exess with tissue

then add concealer anywher you have a spot or summin with your third finger...its got the softest skin.

For skool im guessing you wont want dramatic lips or eyes so use eyelash curlers

    and some watherproof mascara,

if you feel naked without eyeliner use a very lite shade, use a pencil in grey if you have pale skin

or brown if your dark skined....

i heard a white eye pencil makes your eyes look bigger too, but i never tried it.

if you want add a litter shimmer to your eyelids

i dont think you shud use any heavy eyeshadows...just things like nudes browns or golds

then add a clear or nude pretty lip gloss, you shud look clean nd pwitty

if your goin out and you want a dramatic look...

go dramatic with either EITHER the eyes or lips!

    NOT BOTH!

but im sure you already knew that :)

hope this helps.... i love applying make up and trying new things... sorry bout the long answer lol...

I am 18 and I want to know some beauty tips which can used on a daily basis.?

u will get rid ov dead cells and all that! and the most imp thing

it has no side effects and stuff ur comlexion will glow within time! can assure u =) thatx d best u can do with ur skin otherz dont work n hav so much ov side effects!

so its all on yew!I am 18 and I want to know some beauty tips which can used on a daily basis.?
I have been using clinique for about 6 years now. Most makeup causes damage to your skin wheither it's acne or dry skin. Try not to use so many different face washes or to many different kinds of powders. Keep it natural on a daily basis and when you go out you can where as much as you want. where to much m,akeup each day and u wont look as special as when you go out.
um, i can give you random stuff.

I suggest keeping 2 kinds of face powder. When you start getting breakouts for no reason, switch to your second one. If the breakout goes away, repeat the process,

frequently flip your pillow around (esp if you sleep with a side of your face touching your pillow) to your facial oils dont ';pool'; and cause breakouts.

Wash your face twice a day. When you first wake up, aand right before bed. holding you face over steam opens your pores so doing this or using warm water while washing your face should help clean out our pores.

Buy mult. shampoos. about every 2 weeks switch between them so you wont have buildup in your hair.

I suggest against using conditioner everyday as well. everyother day works better. your hair wont get or seem as oily that way.
    hi!

well too much make-up can damage ur skin. i would suggest a simple kaajal (indian eye-liner) on your eyes everyday-(black),, face cream just so your face is moisturised for the day. and finally a last touch with a bit of pale pink lipgloss or any colour of ur choice. this is pretty simple for ur daily basis.

    hope i've helped friend!

try this site, you can read an articles of beauty tips daily http://www.MyFashionLink.com
Try Clearasil Daily Use Range. Very effective to combat pimples, which is a big problem in teens, and also good for daily skin care needs
That question is really general. I guess it's hard to put it all in one answer. I would suggest going through youtube videos as always.
Never use Soap on face ,use gel, 7 ther is face masque for facial use 2 times a week..for more details cont..9999631811, Delhi
umm you want to use a moisturiser! and primer or a tinted moisturiser.

What are your best beauty tips/secrets?

We're talking hair, make-up, exercise, health, skin any beauty tips! What are your best beauty tips/secrets?
Beauty Tip 1: Use foundation on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow. It helps the eyeshadow stay on longer.

Beauty Tip 2: Instead of buying expensive oil blotter papers, buy a box of perm papers. Very cheap and works great for blotting oily skin.

Beauty Tip 3: Apply carmex on your lips before putting on lip gloss or lipstick, it helps it stay on longer, keep it moisturized, and sometimes makes your lips ';juicier'; looking.

Beauty Tip 4: Use petroleum jelly or cold cream to remove stubborn eye makeup. its cheap and it works (even on waterproof mascara).

Beauty Tip 5: Nothing ages a person more than worry. Try to be positive and love every day as a new adventure and get joy from all the little things (so many cost nothing). Drink 8 glasses of water a day and use a moisturizer.

Beauty Tip 6: A Clay Mask works wonders on oily skin!

Beauty Tip 7: Use a gentle soap like Dove for acne prone skin. It makes your skin a lot less oily because its PH balanced. Beauty Tip 8: Spray your face with cold water or stand with your head in the air from the freezer for a few moments to reduce redness.

Beauty Tip 9: Line deep set eyes with lighter shades of eyeliner to emphasize them!

Beauty Tip 10: Use a hair dryer for a few seconds on your eyelash curler.

Beauty Tip 11: To remove blackheads, steam for 5 mins and exfoliate immediately.

Beauty Tip 12: To make your hair shiny and strong, after taking a shower apply olive oil into damp hair. It will make your hair shiny and much stronger. - Submitted by Bsiddiqui1

Beauty Tip 13: Keep lashes smooth and supple by brushing them with petroleum jelly before going to bed at night. It is also a good way to emphasize natural-looking lashes in the daytime. What are your best beauty tips/secrets?
Beauty is more than skin-deep. Beauty is unique grace and confidence, a shining light that sparkles through the eyes and smile. It's not what you look like; it's what you project.

Beauty is a subjective quality and a universal perfect beauty is but an abstract concept.

Mind, spirit and body - the whole beauty... BeautyDen.com empowers women to be all they can be. This site is for every beautiful woman who wants to enhance her beauty.
I use Giovanni organic shampoos, conditioners and styling products because they don't have sulfates that will damage my hair.

I use a facial scrub and homemade organic soaps.

I start each day with a glass of water to jumpstart my metabolism.

I do 100 crunches in the morning, stretch out and run and then stretch again. Exercising in the morning helps you burn more calories all day.

When I am hungry between meals, I eat apples.

I sleep with an eye mask because your body only produces melatonin in the dark and melatonin prevents premature aging.

I don't eat MSG (monosodium glutamate) or other chemicals. Always read labels. If you want to eat chips, get plain ones without all the artificial flavoring.

I don't wear face makeup or coverups. Just Bare Escentuals mineral veil powder, mascara, eyeliner and chapstick. At night I add an off-white shimmery eye shadow.

I wear sexy undies because I always feel good when I do.

Perfume with vanilla notes lifts my spirits.
Confidence is key. If YOU think you look good, it'll shine through.

I wash my hair every two days with Herbal Essences or Dove products, and rinse with cold water afterwards to make it really smooth and shiny. Blow-dry on a low heating setting to avoid frying your hair.

For your skin, wear SPF 15 or higher always, whatever the season! A moisturizer or tinted foundation containing this is fine.

I happen to wear a lot of make-up out, but the saying goes ';Less is more'; and I think most people live by that. Curl your eyelashes and coat them with mascara. Liquid eyeliner is tricky to apply at first but you'll get the hang of it - if not, try kohl or just wear eyeshadow (don't go too bright for day). For blush, apply a sheer colour to the apples of your cheeks. Lips can go with a tinted balm. Keep a tube of concealer in your purse to apply when you need it, it does wonders!

Cut back on the caffeine and junk and get a good night's sleep. Drink a lot of water and don't forget to wash your face at night with a good cleanser - department store brands are pricey, but worth it.

    Hope I helped!

If you wash your body with vinegar, it makes your skin to have less pimples and b smooth. You can also squeeze lemon into your hair and sit out in the sun for an hour, then wash it out. Your hair will have lighter highlights. It worked for me amazingly
Put olive oil in dry hair put a shower cap over your hair and then wash it out after a few hours. Also you can do a homemade mask like this one http://roopcafe.blogspot.com/2008/08/my-favorite-diy-mask-brightening.html

My top tip for winter would be Moisturize! Keep your hair well conditioned and regularly trimmed. Use a deep moisturizer on your skin or since you're fair you could try one with a hint of self-tan. Brush a little bronzer across your cheekbones and forehead. And finish your nails with a rich burgundy color, that looks really good in fall/winter, maybe OPI's ';Eiffel for this color'; : )Can someone Please help me, with some beauty tips for winter !?

What are last minute beauty tips to get ready for vacation?

I'm assuming your taking an airplane.

Don't wear too much makeup, accessories, good hair, etc. onto the airplane. You might fall asleep and screw up your makeup, hair. Too much accessories will bother the heck out of you. don't wear high heels, it'll hurt a lot and kill your feet.

What I suggest is after you get to your destination, immedietly go to the nearest bathroom at the airport and change into whatever you want to wear. Put on makeup, do your hair, wear high heels.

    Have fun!

no makeup, but if you must, just black mascara, and white frosty highliter under the bottom lids and tops of cheeks, forehead, nose and chin. light pink blush and lipstick. just keep it natural cuz you got the natural beauty! love ur hair. Are there any beauty tips you can recommend for me?
    Hiya

Wow you are really naturally pretty if that pic was taken with no make up!

As you have dark hair and tanned skin you can get away with wearing quite bright colors.

You dont really need makeup as you look good without it so in the day go for a natural look.. Just black mascara, nude gloss etc. For a more dressed up look go for purple, pink, olive, orangey brown on the eyes any will look good on you - also gold will look good.

I think that a cute bob or layers would look good on your hair, You have big eyes so I would play them up. For brown eyes use golds, pinks, browns, and blues. Navy and plums look great with blue and purple eye shadow. Black mascara would look great on your eyes. For face I would make it look neutral with just mineral. For hair I think that cute short layered look with blond highlights would look awesome. Hope this helps.
a bang would be nice and all you need is natural colors like nude lipstick and a little mascara ,blush wouldn't hurt .as far as eyeshadow i would go with liquid creamy nude
Shaping your eyebrows would make your eyes pop.

Using liquid eyliner to line your top lid and using mascara to make eyelashes long and lush.

Also i think bangs would look good on you.

    No, I haven't.

Just wondering what are your beauty tips?

what are you beauty tips for make-up, skin, hair ect?Just wondering what are your beauty tips?
    - I use white eyeliner in the inner corner of my eyes to make 'em look brighter %26amp; more awake

    - I use a light brown eyeshadow or blush on the hollows of my cheeks to make them appear to be contoured, %26amp; then it makes my whole face seem thinner (cuz I have a round face)

    - To make my side bangs stay together on the side I wear them on, I pin them over with a bobby pin while I sleep at night, then in the morning, I just have to restraighten them and fix the rest of my hair, and they look perfect all day long ...

Hope these help!! =)Just wondering what are your beauty tips?
    makeup:

put a light shade of liquid foundation on your eyelids and then apply your makeup. I don't use it on my face because it makes me look weird but there are some out there that looks really nice on other people. It's always nice to stay natural for me. you don't really need those heavy makeup.

    Skin:

I just put lotion on after showers and it makes my skin feel really soft.

Also before I go to sleep I put Vaseline on my face which makes it really soft after I wash it off in the morning.

    Hair:

I don't really do anything to my hair.
    well for your face,

wash your face every night, its clean off all the make- up or anyhithing on your face and clears your pours, %26amp; Who wants mascara all over their pillow anyway? lol

%26amp; for your hair, try to use as little as possible,

if your hair can make a pretty curl, then go with it! But for some people it cant.... like me!!!

lol but if you dont use hair dyers, straighteners, or any products, your hair will be healthier.

%26amp;%26amp; i suggest herbal essance shampoo and conditioner (the red kind)

it makes ur hair smell really good!

%26amp;%26amp; your nails, well nail polish i good enough, but once it starts chipping, redo it!! Chip nails never look good! lol

    well i hop i helped.
I put tonner on my chest (not the actual chest but where yu put neckalce) to make my chest look bigger

Any beauty tips that are awesome and good working?

Just post any beauty tips ya got that work great and are the best....=]Any beauty tips that are awesome and good working?
I've been working on finding the best tips for a couple years now..and I finally have found some that really work.

1)First, I exfoliate everyday right before showering..and it works AMAZINGLY! I make my own exfoliater. Take a container, and pour some sugar in, and then some either lotion or soap, whatever works for you, and shake it up, then rub it in circles on each part of your body, focusing on your knees and elbows especially. Do this BEFORE you get in the shower. Then when you shower, you will feel sooo soft and your skin will look AMAZING. Also, you won't have any dry, rough patches of skin. You'll feel baby-soft all the time!

    2) If you're looking for a self-tanner, save yourself the hassle of trying millions of them like I did, and go for the perfect one: Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze self-tan mousse. It's INCREDIBLE. Looks so natural, it just enhances your own skin tone. NEVER orange, streaky, blotchy, anything like that. Before you use it though, make sure you exfoliate like I said above, and lotion your entire body, especially knees, elbows, feet..anyplace that tends to get really dry. The reason alot of tanners turn darker in some areas more than others is because there is more dead skin in some areas, or dryness, and that causes more pigment to stick. So make sure all your skin is soft and smooth. The whole Bare Bronze line is a perfect solution to getting a tan without frying in the sun.

    3) Instead of using all kinds of expensive teeth-whitening products, just combine equal parts crushed strawberries and baking soda. Spread on your teeth and leave it on for a few minutes. It does the same thing the expensive ones do, without all the cost.

Hope these help! I'm sure there's more but I'm a little out of it right now. I'll come back if I think of more! Take care:)Any beauty tips that are awesome and good working?
    less is more

    wear lots of sunscreen everday

    moisterize your skin
Losing weight is the most effective.
    clean moisturized skin

What are your BEST beauty tips?

So we have read all the ones in the magazines, but I want personal experiences here! Little things you do every day, even things you made up yourself that seem to work.

Mine is: I put concealer on AFTER foundation. Everyone says do it the other way, but the foundation just seems to wipe it off.

I also sometimes put bio-oil all over my face before bed, and when i wake up in the morning my skin is nice and soft. What are your BEST beauty tips?
I have bio oil, never have used it though, now i will :),well for my hair i use Pantene Pro-v Daily moister renewal, its really great, for heat damaged, and coloring damaged hair,i also use,Tresemme Smooth and soft, its so good, for making your hair silky smooth, when you don't have time to,wash or style your hair,i also use Sorbolene moisturizer, you can put it all of your body, even face, and leave your skin silky smooth.

For my face i use Proactive, and even use Avon Clear skin brand it's great!

ByeWhat are your BEST beauty tips?
*Johnson's Baby Oil works better than any moisturizer out there. Put it on at the very end of your shower, so your skin absorbs it, and you can wash your hands and not deal with the mess. Just make sure you have a bath mat so you don't slip!

*I hate static cling in the winter when i take off my hat. So I lightly spray the inside of my hat with hair spray before i put it on. That way my hair doesn't stick up all over the place.

*In a pinch, a little bit of lotion works on frizz.

*Also, if you have frizzy hair put on your products while your hair is still wet. As soon as your hair starts to dry, the frizz is nearly impossible to manage.

*I put on my concealer and foundation with a make up sponge. It lasts and gets better coverage than my finger or make-up brushes.

*Put extra coats of mascara on your outer lashes to make your eyes look really big.

*If you happen to pop a pimple, wash your face, and don't be anything on it except for a dab of a clay mask on it overnight. It'll dry out and be significantly smaller and easier to conceal.

*Baby powder works wonders for oily hair in a pinch. Way better than translucent face powder.

*A little, itty bit of white shimmer powder, or eye shadow underneath the arches of your eye brows make tired eyes look more awake. Just be careful not to add too much! Just a sublte shimmer.

That's all I can think of for now!

Hair- When it's still wet i part it, hairspray it, and bobby pin it to wear i want it to stay.

Skin- I will put moisturizer on after i get out of the shower

Face- makeup- I put concealer under my eyes first, rub it in GENTLY, then use mousse foundation which is really light on my skin, than i will use a powder mineral thing that makes it nice and even.

Eye makeup- I DO NOT use pencil eyeliner (it only makes your eyes look smaller and beaty) i use powder eyeliner on the top to make a small line. And i will use mascara, while i put on mascara i push the brush up to elongate them.

Eyebrows- To keep your eyebrows looking fierce and in place, spray some hairspray on your finger and out it on your eyebrows and shape them the way you want them.

Thats just about my morning routine. Hope i helped.

    -Tawna
I use all-natural shampoo and conditioners with no silicones or sodium laurel sulphates. Both ingredients are very drying to your hair and my hair is a lot shinier since switching to organic... I also put a tiny drop of olive oil on my palms then run it through my hair an hour before I shower to protect my hair from the drying effects of shampoo...

I only use eyeliner on the top of my eyes because if you put it on the bottom, especially the waterline, your eyes will look smaller. Putting white eyeshadow near the tearducts can make your eyes look further apart and bigger also.
I use coconut oil for my hair for a deep conditioner as it is naturally curly and coarse...sometimes on my skin before bed

Sugar once a week to exfoliate for smooth soft skin

For straight hair without the hassle of a flat iron(which i personally hate dealing with), i put it in big rollers and it comes out bouncy and straight

After cleansing face, splash cold water on face

    I have 3:

    1. i always heat my eyelash curler. it makes the curl stay.

    2. instead of foundation, i use tinted moisturizer...i'm almost 30 so i am beginning to show some subtle signs of aging and i find that foundation just brings them out more. i also break out from so many foundations, but tinted moisturizer never irritates my skin.

    3. i use a pink-toned bronzer instead of blush OR orangey looking bronzer. it gives me a much more natural glow and i don't end up looking like a clown.
*Want bigger Lips - Apply a shimmering silver eyeshadow to the centre of your lips over your lipstick and add gloss.

*Want curls/waves without damaging your hair - Blow-dry ur hair naturally without a brush and sweep the hair into a bun. Allow your hair to cool in this style and you can continue to get ready in the meantime. When your about to finish your look, release the bun and give your hair a quick hairspray.. works wonders and gives you those hollywood hair kinks!

*Use brown eyeshadow instead of a pencil to make your eyebrows fuller.

    * USE FOUNDATION ON YOUR LIPS ALSO TO NEUTRALIZE YOUR LIP COLOR. LIPS HAVE A NATURAL COLOR ALREADY WITH NO LIPSITCK/LIP GLOSS ON SO TO MAKE IT NEUTRAL PUT FOUNDATION OR CONCEALER ON THEM. THEN YOU WILL DEFINITELY GET THE THE TRUE COLOR OF WHATEVER LIPSTICK YOU ARE GOING TO WEAR.

    * WHEN APPLYING MASCARA, PUT ONE LAYER ON AT A TIME. WAIT AFTER THE FIRST UNTIL ITS DRY, THEN DO THE OTHER LAYER. THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH MASCARA ON THE LASHES!

    * WHEN APPLYING BLUSH, SMILE AND ON THE HIGHT OF YOUR CHEECKS IS WHERE YOU PUT YOUR BLUSH, ALL AROUND.

    * FINALLY... A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY, EXCEPT FOR MASCARA!
avoid SUN.wear spf sun block in face, neck back and front, lips, hands.a cap, dermatologist gloves-hands show age..giant sunglasses with UV .

never go to sleep with out removing make up,sun block and moisturizing.

don麓t smoke,or drink too much alcohol

don麓t eat white foods.except for fish and onion.

finish your never too hot shower with a ice cold water.

    great question,so i麓m lighting u a star
I make a cheap body scrub out of palm sugar when I cant afford a scrub for the bath.

Also exfoliate lips using vaseline on a toothbrush - it's very effective for getting rid of flakies and having smooth lips. And use an spf 30 lipgloss because lips get burnt too.
there are lots of good beauty tips but you should see which one works best for you

Wash your face twice a day with soap and water.

Wash your pillow case at least once a week to help keep away zits and pimples.

Brush and blow dry your hair upside down for a fuller look.

Pluck your eyebrows only after you get out of the shower. (It's less painful.)

To get rid of pimples put toothpaste on it overnight.(Don't use the whitening kind it will burn.)What are some good beauty tips?
Stay out of the sun and you won't be asking this question again when your are 60 cuz you will have great skin and your friends will envy you.
dont sleep with your eyes open.
To make your eyeshadow more striking, you can use a lighter shade across the lid and then blend a darker version of the lighter color in the outer corner and along the crease.

Opi nailpolish has a clear topcoat that makes any color you choose look shinier and stand out.

I have curly hair, and Ive found mousse gives it more definition than gel.

You should go a little back to school shopping and make sure to buy clothes that really look good on you. You can also do something with your hair, like straightening or curling, or use some shine spray. Accessories definitely make outfits way cuter too. But... most importantly, show your beauty from within...School is starting in 3 days any beauty tips?

Dont rub broken glass into your skin.
When your 25 start using anti wrinkle. Not when you have wrinkles hence the anti. Also use anti eye wrinkle cream. 25 is the age to start. Use expensive ones as some of the cheaper ones are not good at all. May seem a waste of money now but believe me you'll be glad when your forty. Yes i am 26 and use both and haven't got one crows feet.
Beauty comes from within, you might be beautiful on the outside, but if your an ugly old bint on the inside you aint all that!!!

Does anyone know some good beauty tips?

Does anyone have any really good beauty tips on these subjects?:

-How to have shiny, tan, gorgeous legs in the winter time?

-How to create the perfect, long and lucious hair look?

-And I have a slight dilemma with my outfit. I have these super cute leggings and leg warmers that I want to wear with my new boots, but I only have a few tops that are slightly short for leggings, I mean they just cover my butt. Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks for all the help!!Does anyone know some good beauty tips?
Ok, I may be a guy, but I'm a pretty vain one, so I might be able to help:

-There are many self tanners out there that 1, won't turn you orange, and 2, actually work, Neutrogena makes one that I tried once and it actually yielded good results that lasted over a week (remember, if you're not that dark it wont last very long) Avoid spray tanning because I hear you run the risk of inhaling chemicals, and avoid tanning beds because they are just horrible for the skin

-Hair gloss is an age old trick 4 this, first use moose to increase the hair volume, then use something like Redkin to make it smooth and shiny, this works espeially 4 frizzy hair

-I don't wear girls clothes so cant help u there....

Hope this helps even a little bitDoes anyone know some good beauty tips?
There is only one guaranteed beauty tip:

Be very careful in your choice of grandparents !
cocoa butter makes you tan really good :)
I want to know as well.....

I have really pale skin and I'm also very freckly, red hair. Any make-up/beauty tips?

No expensive products please! :)I have really pale skin and I'm also very freckly, red hair. Any make-up/beauty tips?
try the maybelline mineral power line. they have

    foundation

    concealer

    blush

    mineral veil

its very natural and last long while on your skin.

maybe try using some foundation, concealer, and blush. use some eyeliner on your top lid, and mascara. for your lips some lip balm and a lip tint(or lipstick, light pink or whatever suits you;)I have really pale skin and I'm also very freckly, red hair. Any make-up/beauty tips?
    Same as me :D

Browns look amazing as well as lilac and peachy colours which are really in season at the moment :)

You need to make sure you buy the right foundation for pale skin because it can make you look orange. No7 do a really good set of foundations and don't test them on your hand rub the foundation on your jawl line and if it blends then its the right one.

this site has really cheap make up and loads of brands

    http://www.cosmetics4less.net/

Also for a glam night smokey eyes look amazing

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BH-bbLnvX鈥?/a>

Keep your lips simple with just gloss or a pale colour and use a really good colour shampoo to bring out the red in your hair

    Hope this helps :)
Nicola Roberts from girls aloud is pretty like you and is blessed with fair skin and gorgeous red locks.

Because there is not much makeup out there for unique girls like you, she has recently this year brought out a makeup range.

Its a littl bit pricey but well worth it as it specially made for people like you and will make the most out of your lucky features!
    you sound unique!

show it off, don't wear a whole

    bunch of makeup.

    instead, get perfect clear skin

to highlight your freckles and skin.

make your hair color really vibrant

by making your hair nice and smooth

and shiny, but do something more unexpected

with your hair like beachy waves or huge curls.

    :)
I'm with you sister! Pale redhead too. I like a tinted mostiorizer for foundation and stick with peach and warm brown tones for eyes and blush. Stay away from black eyeliner and marcara. I'm not sure what your budget is but I found this website called Just for Redheads.com and it has great products at good prices. It also has beauty tips for our special needs.
I also have extremely pale skin... the only foundation that I've ever found that's light enough is Mary-Kay medium coverage... it's in a tube and it's like 14 dollars. It lasts a long time and it will cover anything
never ever wear black eyeshawdow or eyeliner, its way to harsh. instead play around with different brighter colors that bring outs eyes and freckles

SkinCare: Beauty tips to get the perfect looking skin?

I would like some tips on how to make your skin look great by just using good old products you find in your home. I suffer with a few zits and whilst there are 101 solutions I would like to know some that do not involve $50 at Molton Brown, Clinique or some other retailer. How do I plump my lips up to get big, juicy red attractive lips. I use lipcare pruducts but I just want to know people's beauty tips. I am a Guy so no suggestions on Lip gloss please. Well maybe on the weekend.SkinCare: Beauty tips to get the perfect looking skin?
Mate, where did you go wrong??? OK - well, I scrub my face with a facial scrub every day - that takes care of the pimples, and it really clears up the skin - stops ingrown hairs etc.

As for your skin in general, it is all about diet - no soda, no pimples. no mcdonalds/kfc/bk no pimples, lots of veg will lead to fewer wrinkles, and if you are really scared of aging moisturise twice a week (because guys create more skin oils, and if you do it too much - you guessed it pimples)

As for your lips, if you want them red have you tried beetroot? it stains everything red!

Michelle Obama can't give beauty tips to anyone... She has got to be one of the most unattractive black women I've ever seen. Will Michelle Obama offer beauty tips to Carla Bruni?
What will Michelle-my-bell Obama add to the table? Carla Bruni needs no tips from the likes of Michelle Obama- unless shes going for the angry, I hate America, pro-socialist, anti-capitalist, I look like the Predator with out the mask on, black woman look. Then maybe
No - I don't think she would be so presumptuous.
    yes.

What are your best beauty tips?

Okay. Im fourteen, have long brown hair, im 5 foot 5, have mild acne, 36B breasts and quite a bad fashion style. I look really plain, and i need to spice things up for grade 9. please help. im desperate! What are your best beauty tips?
T-shirts : love them, make them very colorful, not to low cut.

Shorts : not to short but not to long but colorful shorts (blue, green red)

I like accessories like a nice scarf, or a nice neckless i don't like earrings but if u want. Also nice sunglasses.

hoodies are cool when its cold but not wit big designs on it (very plain)

    Flats or gladiators shoes.

To find the t-shirts you should go to american apparel or H%26amp;M (i live in canada so dunno if u know those stores)

also the shorts at h%26amp;M and maybe abercrombie but its kinda expensive and american eagle.

and dont look to matchy .... use different colors

and get a nice haircut with layers and bangs. What are your best beauty tips?
well to get ready for high school I would get a new haircut, maybe something shoulder length and layered. try buying some new clothes that you can feel cute and confident in. as for beauty tips, always wash your face and don't overdo the makeup. personally, i stick to concealer, mascara, and lipgloss on most days. and smile!
If you have acne, try using clearasol. It works wonders off your face.If you have long brown hair, like me try styling it different. Maybe, simply just put it in a ponytail or a messy bun. Change it up a little! Be creative! Try going shopping at Candies.I have several things from Candies. T-shirts, make-up, jewelry, and etc. Hope this helps.
u r just 14 and no need any spicy dress to mature yourself up like a 20s girl. All you need a clean and chic nice outfit which fits your age such as Banana Republic or Gap, Tomy Hilfiger or Polo shirts. If your hair too long, plz have it cut down to your shoulder, too long hair seems looking too dragging. With smile and a clean face without acne will be the best for you, Girl.
don't wear make up it's okay to not I don't and I rarley get one pimple a month. I think it is so stupid when girls try to cover up their pimple with make up. A pimple is a cloged pore...so you put make up on to clog it more?!?! (I understand for a quick fix like a dance or a date).
get a cute hair cut, with side bangs, use pro active, boobs are fine, buy a push up from victorias secret. buy some cute clothes. be sure to get a juicy track jacket. a must.

If your skin's mostly fine already definetly don't use an acne cleanser. proactive will dry out your skin and litterally bleach it. which you don't want after a summer of tanning. Your face will be paler than the rest of you.]

My skin is normally good some blackhead areas and zits every now and then so it sounds like your skin type. I find these rules work for me:

#1: don't pick at any blemishes you already have. especially blackheads.

#2: Wash with a gentle cleanser and also a soft washcloth giving a little scrub but not to hard only once a day. Just wash with water only if you wash more than once a day otherwise your skin will get too dry and then overproduce oil.

#3: Drink the recommended intake of water per day. [8 8 ounce glasses] and try your hardest to make most of it plain water.

#4: Lay off any soda or other really sugary things if u eat lots of this stuff. Eat more fruits/veggies especially ones with caratenoids

#5: Do a little bit of tanning 2 days before school starts. don't over do it though, you don't wanna be red.

These things take time to work but they work for me. If you keep at it for the month before school you'll probably have nice skin by then. How to get great skin for first day of school? Any other beauty/fashion tips?

Natural women, any beauty tips or secrets to share?

i recently cut my hair and am now wearing a honey blonde curly afro... i love it, but the whole natural look is so plain sometimes... any beauty techniques for tips?Natural women, any beauty tips or secrets to share?
I only use mascara, eyeliner and a natural tone of lip color. Nothing on the face. One line of eye liner and FULL lashes and one natural lip glosser and people always say ';I always thought you wore a lot of make up.'; I was my face once a day but three times. I was my face as soon as I get in the shower with cetaphil and rinse it off and then repeat. Then I use a hard scrubber called ';Credintials'; soft grain scrub that I really scrub firmly and even use my fingernails to scrape all the skin away and then my face is ALWAYS clear with no blemishes and no zits or anything. It is very smooth. Use the credentials every other day. It's alittle pricey like $35.00 but you only use a dime size so it lasts for like 6-8 months. I use it and it is amazing. Thats actually the point of it. You use it so you can really clean your face and bring out your natural tone so you do not have to use makeup. Your natural colors will come out. Sounds crazy but it works!!

Good Luck and your cutt sounds super cute!!!Natural women, any beauty tips or secrets to share?
just bring out your eyes with black mascara and maybe some brown eyeliner (depending on how you do it and how it looks on you) and just some kind of frost lipstick thats a light color to compliment your skin
    What is an unnatural woman?
try little to no make up like just a dab of mascara and pink lip gloss
I would suggest using nude shimmering eyeshadow, line the upper eyelid with dark brown or black liner, curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, add 2 coats of black mascara and add some lipgoss or lipstick thats not too dark, like pink with undertones or brown just to soften and flatter your face so it wont look too dramatic.

    hope this helps sweetie!
Using earthy hues for eye shaddow and a little bronzer can keep the natural look.
I like natural women with realtits and a bush.

Are there any health or beauty tips that you have decided to follow religiously?

Perhaps you can use this opportunity to make a pledge to yourself! Some of mine are:

1- If your body is healthy and in perfect balance, there is no reason to show any sysmptoms of being unwell!! So to always be in-tune with my body and get help for it when needed (and to ensure the same for my family!). And by help I mean as much as possible help from natural/holistic medicines.

2- To treat my skin well! Harsh skin products filled with perfumes and other harmful chemicals don't do your skin any favours!

3- Not to grow my fringe! I've realised a shortish fringe suits me best.

4- Not to thin out my eyebrow too much, it doesn't suit me!

5- To moisturise my lips at least twice a day.

6- To take better care of my eyes, mostly to clean my contact lenses well and dispose of them as soon as they expire. I have been quite neglectful of my eyes' health for a long time!

7- To change my exercise and sleeping habits(i.e. exercise more often. Sleep earlier at night and become more of an early riser)Are there any health or beauty tips that you have decided to follow religiously?
I wash my face with water every night before going to bed, to get the oil off. I've found it does help with clearer skin. I don't use any of those face wash products, I think there's too many chemicals in them. Are there any health or beauty tips that you have decided to follow religiously?
    Dear shrimpylicious,

Different people have different answers to these questions. However, the reality is that due to presence of synthetic preservatives, it鈥檚 really tough to find a natural skin care product that is 100% natural.

I hope this help in your post.

they have a interactive quiz that you can take

    (only takes about 5 minutes)

and it will give you a personalized skin care routine that's just for your skin type.

I had the same problem as you, and I did what the quiz results told me and my skin is much, much better.

    Good Luck :)
there are pills that you can get at a dermatologist or you could go to the dermatologist and get cortozone shots that treat acne in a few days to a couple of hours....good luck not soo natural but it def works
    i used 2 have heaps.

then i went 2 my GP, and she said that i should take these 2 creams (which r perscription only), and now i look good.

and as 4 ur skin colour, why would u want 2 change it?
I barely hear from people that have done those saloon treatments to help. Stop going there and instead make an appointment with dermatologist. He will tell you how to remove them.

What are some great beauty tips?

I'm planning a spa day with my friends this weekendWhat are some great beauty tips?
    - Always wear sunscreen, to keep from getting wrinkles

-Do a face mask once a week to keep your pores clear

-To apply perfume, spray it once into the air in front of you and then walk through it (Eyes closed)

-When applying blush, smile so you can see the apples of your cheeks, apply the blush there, and then blend towards the hairline

-Only apply foundation where your skin tone is uneven

    - Concealer goes on before foundation

-Sephora has tons of stuff you can try for free and the nice ladies will even give you makeovers, but it is nice to buy something, and kind of hard to resist

-Apply a primer before lipstick to make it stay longer

-When washing your hair, finish with a cool water rinse because it will close your hair cuticles and keep your hair shiny

-Nicole by OPI has these nail polish ';markers'; that make it really easy to apply. Nic's Sticks, they have them at most drug stores

    - Tone and plump the skin on your face by putting an ice cube into a plastic bag, and rubbing it gently all over your face for a couple of minutes

    - Freeze damp tea bags (green tea preferably) and put them on your eye lids for 5-10 minutes to de-puff themWhat are some great beauty tips?

Does anyone know any 5 to 15 minute beauty tips?

I need some quick stuff that looks polished and pretty. not stuff for a night on the town, but for school, or a job. please help. it can be anything. tips for hair, for makeup, for clothesDoes anyone know any 5 to 15 minute beauty tips?
Well if I am in a hurry what I do is put concealer under my eyes and on my eye lids to cover up and dark looking skin in that area, and plus if you put concealer on your eyelid always before eyeshadow it will really make it easier for the shadow to stay on and look its true color. It will create a smooth surface for the shadow to go on. And then Maybe just powder and spots on your face with a sponge just to cover and spots you don't like. And then mascara and curl them. Then Take a small brush and put white shadow on the corners of your eyes by your nose. It looks so pretty. Not too much Just enough to make it shimmer a little in that spot. So pretty I love it! Then just a little blush not too much. For my hair(which is naturally curly) it is always hard to find a solution in a little bit of time. But What I found works the best is if I am in a rush to throw some curlers in my hair(I will just curl the strands that look not so good lol) and then it blends in well with the rest of my hair. Sometime I will do the opposite and just straighten the ones that don't look so good and then wear those with the rest curly. Either way it blends and look good. Hope this helps!!!Does anyone know any 5 to 15 minute beauty tips?
First lotion your face with a non oil based lotion. then cover your face evenly with a powder foundation, dont forget under your eyes, then get a light blush and put it across your cheek bones, dont use to much, make it so you can barely see it. this will make your cheek bones look higher.. add eyeliner to your bottom lid and mascara to your top and bottom eye lashes.. this is my morning, and it takes me about 10 mins.
how to dress, depends on the occasion and place. School, casual,

for job, it all depends on the job you have. wear mascara, lipstick, some blush and if you want a light eye shadow for the day time.

after moisturizing your face and eye:

    1-eye shadow

    2-mascara

3- blush on the apple of your cheek

4- lip liner and lip stick

hair depends what suits you the most: pony tail or let your hair loose.
Always make sure your hair looks healthy and clean. Plus, If you have a nice complexion make sure and put it out there. Pulling you hair back is usually a very pretty look. Or, tossing a headband in your hair is a quick fix.

Skin toned or neutral eye shadows are good to use when you highlighting your eyes for on the go. :]
Put base in the range from your your eyelid crese

    to your eyebrow.

    and for your hair...

if its curly then spray on leave in conditioner,

then put some gel in your hand, and like

    scrunch it into your hair.
    Pantyhose.

Putting honey on blackheads helps get rid of them overnight.

Icing pimples helps them go down for a while.

You can make an easy scrub to exfoliate with, just use a half cup of sugar, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil and honey each.

Shaving your legs with conditioner is a good way to get rid of that condidtioner you didn't like on your hair.

Putting lemon juice in your hair and sitting in the sun will make it lighter.

If your eyelashes are just a bit damp, mascara goes on easier.

What are some good quick beauty tips for before school?

I go to a school that is about 20-25 min. away from where I live and it starts early. I was wondering if anyone knows of some quick and easy beauty tips whether its a quick cute hairdo or something else. I need all the help I can get!!!What are some good quick beauty tips for before school?
Well, I know some tips that may help you.

First off, showers before bed. Instead of taking showers when you wake up, before you go to sleep take a shower and brush out your hair. Keep it wet and braid it, so when you wake up your hair will be soft and very easy to style.

I do a little 5 minute make-up frenzy thing that I made up with my best friend. It only takes 5 minutes and it gives you a natural look.

Minute 1-Apply, a soft colored eyeshadow don't overload either.

Minute-2- Use some cover up to hide blemishes.

Minute 3-Apply a light blush to your cheek apples*.

Minute 4-Eyeliner and mascara. Usually eyeliner may take 10 minutes but just put very little so it makes your eyes bold. Masacara is quick to apply if you don't have a cheap brand that clumps.

Minute 5- Put a non colored secented lip gloss on. You may have seconds to spare so just admire yourself:)

Your hair is also an eyecatcher that should me done neatly. The catch-it may take a while to get it perfect. Keep your hair natural. If your hair is curly keep it curly. If it's staright keep it that way. Using a curling or falt iron damages hair. It dosen't mean don't ever use heat to do your hair. Just minimize the amount you do it. If you do do it, do it after your shower at night. In the morning your hair will be moist form your shower, most likely. Keep it down or in a ponytail. Some days you may wnat to try a new hairstyle. I like to do half up, half down. It only takes about 10 minutes. Heres how.

1.Make a ponytail using half of your hair. Let the rest fall behind your neck.

2.Apply hairspray to the front of your hair for a strong hold.

3-Brush out the back of your hair.

    TADA!

I also like to make an easy casual bun. Heres how.

Smooth hair back into a low ponytail.

Take your ponytail and split into two separate ponytails; wrap both ponytails in opposite directions around the base of your ponytail to create depth and interest. You can attach the pieces with bobby pins or use another ponytail band to secure them.

Then, let other hair pieces naturally fall forward or out of the back 鈥?this will give the style more of a relaxed feel. Note: With this hairstyle, it鈥檚 best to leave the hairspray out of it to avoid a stiff or sticky look.

Maybe you want the effortless yet cute ponytail. Once again, heres how.

Start with clean hair that has been dried straight with a paddle brush.

Next, flat iron your hair in sections to get the best results.

After flat ironing, brush your hair into a low ponytail and wrap with an elastic band.

You can then wrap a small section of your hair around the elastic to conceal it and secure with a bobby pin on the under side, or you can put a pretty hair barrette in over the elastic - it鈥檚 your choice.

If you have bangs, you can style them just like Hilary Duff's or you can sweep them to the side to complete this look.

These styles take 10-30 minutes. My mom is a professional stylist so she does my hair pretty fast. Days I do it, its a cute causual look liek the ones I gave you.

Getting dressed can also conflict with your schedule. Pick out your clothes and iron them right before you take your shower. Lay them out on a flat surface and in the morning slip them on.

If your ever running late flip flops or ballet flats are effortless to put on. Also, put your hair into a cute ponytail very quickly and do your make up in the car or on the bus. Hope I helped!

    Happy back to school!

Oh wait, rehearse your morning by wkaing up the time you would before school every morning the week before school starts. Get ready and if you can finish quick your ready!

What are some good quick beauty tips for before school?
umm We are always in a hurry, aren't we? Who has time to put on makeup and get dressed when we are trying to get the kids ready for school on time? Here are 10 fast and fun beauty tips.

1-skin moisturizer-moisturize at night and wake up to fresher, younger looking skin.

2-do some deep breathing and morning stretched to get your blood pumping and get all the night's cricks out. You will feel fresh and alive and ready to take on the day.

3-get a makeup that is a base and powder in one for quick application.

4-brush hair underneath then flip over and brush. This will smooth hair and give it a little lift. Put hair up in a pony tail or clips for a young, fresh look that is quick, no time for rollers or curling irons(shower and wash hair in the evenings to save time)

5-prepare clothes night before (if you have to try on outfits, do so the night before. Dress in simple things that make you look and feel attractive and feminine, that make you feel good about yourself, and ready to face the day. (Simple is always attractive)

6-For a fast lip application, line the lips, then apply a gloss inside the liner. clean look

7-less is more. apply a thin coat of mascara or just use the clear coat kind just to bring out the lashes a bit.

8-do away with brushes for shadows and lips, use your fingers, just a dab will do you.

9-spritz on a little smell good and you're good to go

10-grab some comfortable, versatile shoes, maybe sandals, that go with most of your outfits so you're not taking all morning choosing which pair of shoes to wear today. Save the 4 inch blue pumps for your wild nights on the town.

the new girls life magazine has great tips for if u have 5, 10, or 20 minutes!!!!!! i love it!!!!!!!!!! im gonna use the 10 minute one for school, i'd totally invest in the $3 magazine!! oh, and for the 5 minute one it talks about a sleek head band and a little foundation and mascara and gloss

put curlers in overnight and it'll be soo cute when u wake up in the morning!

    have fun at school!
I can totally relate to you!

its a drag to wake up early in the morning and get yourself ready to go. but try something simple.. jeans and a shirt ... some sandals... and dont forget to smell good! I realized that a little perfume goes aloooonnnggg way in the mornings along with some lip gloss (its busts ur confidence up ALOT!)

try something sweet and fresh like Vera Wang Princess by Vera Wang Perfume for Women http://www.ultrafragrances.com/Vera-Wang-Princess-by-Vera-Wang-Perfume-for-Women-p-17054.html to make you feel like a princess every morning!

    enjoy school kiddo!
in the morning if you look tired use blush and dab a small amount of white eyeshadow in the inside corners of your eyes, but not too much bcuz you want it to look naturally there. it helps brighten your complextion and makes you look less tired!
ooh good question.i'm not gonna be very helpful but i'll wanna see these answers.

actually the only tip i can think of is do your hair the night before! that is if ou are going to straighten or curl it or blow dry it.
Do your hair the night before (like the straightening, etc.), so when you wake up all you have to do is fix it.

Headbands are always good when you're in a rush.

    Good luck!

    :)
Wash your face with hot water (this will open pores), quickly moisturizee your face, wash the moisturizer off with cold water (this will close pores)

This will freshen your face for the daay:)
Have a nice time pampering yourself,it will make you feel really good for school.

What are your beauty/style tips or secrets?

I don't know if these really clarify as tips but one thing I do is spray perfume into my hair as the fragrance lasts longer. Another is, if spraying perfume on my wrists I never rub them together as this breaks up the notes in the perfume...

I have a friend who keeps his aftershave in the fridge!

What are your beauty/style tips or secrets? What are your beauty/style tips or secrets?
I keep my eye cream in the fridge to help make the puffies go down. On days when they're extra puffy, I dip a metal spoon in ice water until it gets really cold and hold the bowl of the spoon under each eye for a few minutes. What are your beauty/style tips or secrets?
See this link for Makeup Tips and Tricks: http://beautify-flr.blogspot.com/2009/02鈥?/a>

    Some other tips:

    - Put milk in the ice-cube container, like you put water to make ice-cube. To make your dull looking face look fresh and bright, rub the milk ice cube on the face. It will moisten your face and bring it some life.

    - Don't use a lipstick for more than 8 months, bacteria develops in it and it is harmful for health.

In fact, make sure you buy lipstick with no or very less lead content, as it causes cancer.

Check this link to know what lipstick has high lead content (including good ones like dior) and a list of lipsticks that have very low lead: http://beautify-flr.blogspot.com/2008/11鈥?/a>

    - instead of toner, use natural rose water as toner. It is very good for skin.

    - Spray perfume in the air (at your body level) and walk through it, this way it would spread well all over your clothes and last longer.

    - Use Scarves to brighten up your outfit and create different look.

Check this link on Scarves: http://beautify-flr.blogspot.com/2008/11鈥?/a>
    Follow these tips:

Always apply your moisturiser in upwards sweeping motions. Dragging it down your face will only cause skin to sag. A mini massage will boost circulation too, so rub in the cream in circular motions.

If you鈥檝e overdone the fake tan, don鈥檛 panic! Look for body lotions that contain alpha and beta hydroxyl acids like Palmers Skin Smoothing Lotion. It boosts the speed that skin exfoliates.

If your skin gets shiny, don鈥檛 apply loads of powder, as it makes skin look clogged. Instead, mist your face with facial spritz, the blot with tissue to lift excess oil and freshen. Powder if you need to. Try The Body Shop Vitamin Face Mist.

Hope this aswers your question :)
i put moisturizer in my hand and feet mitts and wear them to bed to keep the skin soft and feeling nice

i also use extra virgin olive oil to remove make-up and revitalise my skin
I don't eat meat or dairy/eggs. This alone has given me a complexion girls would die for!
use mineral make up!!!its the best make up for your skin!!! but i guess thats more like a beauty secret and not a tip...

What are some great beauty tips?

I am a curious person and I like the way I look i was just wondering some good tips like if you use baby oil in the shower it suppose to make you skin softer and smell better! so you get a tip out of this to!?!? thanks!!!What are some great beauty tips?
    Best beauty tip...

Good posture. What are some great beauty tips?
I've read that safflower oil retains moisture the best. You could add some tea tree oil or something like that for fragrance.

    Oh, best beauty tip:

    sleep

    excersize

    healthy diet
    Deep condition hair with mayonnaise
beauty is from within remain positive and you will shine. Remember less is more.
My beauty tip for a beautiful skin is drink a lot of water!! sleep well and have fun, be happy!!!

    Easy!!
Hey I luv good beauty tips too...

and baby oil does make your skin softer but the downside is it makes you smell like baby oil which is a smell that reminds me too much of the doctors office for some reason...idk.

my favorite beauty tip is deep-conditioning hair. Just shampoo ur hair normally but then step out of the shower to condition. Put conditioner in your hair and let it sit in your hair for 15 minutes. Then wash it out and your hair will be soft, smooth, and not frizzy!

But I've tried doing stuff like using mayonnaise in my hair and all that and i've found it just makes my hair greasy, and it's not because i have oily hair. i dont. it just makes my hair reeeallly greasy so i wudent recommend it!

    Eyeliner:

    How To Apply Eyeliner

    1. Liquid eyeliner should only be used above the top lashes. It is best to use a pencil or eyeshadow under the lower lashes. For a more dramatic look, use a colored kohl pencil above and below lashes and follow with a black liquid liner on the top. It will make your lashes appear darker and will stay on all day. A dark eye-liner highlights the shape of your eyes and deepens the look. Softly line with eyeliner pencil, draw a thin line along lashes next to roots.

For a dramatic look, lightly dot color along the lower lashes. For softness, line can be smudged with fingertip or Q-tip.

    ------------------------------

    2. Eyeliner should be applied close to the base of the eyelashes. Products vary from cake to liquid liner to pencil. Practice makes perfect in achieving a fine line. Hold your head back and look down into the mirror. The eyelid will be tight and it will be easier to apply the liner. Smudge if necessary.

    ------------------------------

    3. Don麓t apply eyeliner in a thick line. It looks harsh and makes the eye appear heavy and tired. Get out of the 60麓s and instead use a fine line. If you have trouble, use a brush to blend and smooth it out.

    ------------------------------

    4. By using a line under the lower lashes gives the illusion of making the eyes appear larger. Instead of using a pencil, try using a small makeup brush with a dark eyeshadow. Apply into the lashes to make the lashes appear darker. Below this line apply a highlighter eyeshadow (in white, beige or yellow) in a fine line with a cleansed small brush. This will brighten the eye area.

    ------------------------------

    5. There are pencil eyeliners, liquid eyeliner, and cake eyeliners. Pencil liners can be used above top lashes and under lower lashes. Liquid liners should only be used on the top lid. Cake eyeliners are used with water and can be used both top and bottom.

    ------------------------------

    6. A smoky violet pencil looks best for someone with green eyes. On the color wheel, green and violet are opposite, and so they look well together. Also, look at nature when deciding on a color palette. Green, burnt orange and beige can be found in a field of autumn colors.

    ------------------------------

    7. If you want to use the same liner pencil for eyes and lips I would recommend using an eyeliner pencil. Then you know this is safe for the eyes. Choose a shade that is a red-brown or a plum-brown. Then it will compliment your lipstick.

    ------------------------------

    8. A liquid eyeliner or a cake eyeliner that you use with a fine brush will stay on the best. If you don麓t feel adept at using these, pencils work well also. Pencils can be smudged for a subtle look. Always hold your head back, look down into the mirror, and apply your eyeliner. This will keep your eyelid skin tight and you can make a smooth line.

    ------------------------------

    Mascara:

Tip #1: How to use a lash comb. For some, lash combs are simply too fussy. But for some makeup artists, they're a great invention and keep lashes glob-free and perfectly separated. So how to use? Apply mascara at the lash base. Then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of your lashes. Not into the lash comb? Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand. Wipe wand on tissue, this eliminates blobs BEFORE you start.

Tip #2: Try a clean mascara wand. Sweep a clean, fresh mascara wand through lashes when they're wet. Don't worry, you don't have to buy them.

When you finish a mascara, clean the wand in a capful of eye makeup remover, then wash with soap and dry. Keep it clean by washing it whenever you wash your makeup tools.

Tip #3: Don't shy away from colored mascara. Basic mascara rules are simple: Black works for everyone but can be harsh on blondes. Blondes should opt for brown/black by day and reserve black for night. Blue mascara, however, can brighten blue eyes while purple mascara makes brown eyes pop. The most popular mascara sold in the US is Maybelline Great Lash mascara, a great buy at under $6. The company estimates one tube is sold every 1.6 seconds in the U.S.

Tip #4: When applying mascara, wiggle the wand at the base of the lashes. It's the mascara placed near the roots (not the tips) that gives the illusion of length.

Tip #5: Thin, short brushes are best. A thinner brush allows you to get into the corner of eyes. Short brushes give you more control.

Tip #6: Give a few coats to the edges by blinking. Blink onto the brush to give ends an extra coat.

Tip #7: Powder under the eye before applying mascara. Sometimes mascara smudges because it's attracted to oily concealer or eye creams.

Tip #8: Use an eyelash curler Curling lashes gives eyes the appearance of being wider and brighter. Shoot warm air from your blowdryer on the mascara curler for 3-5 seconds to warm it up before curling lashes. Touch it first to make sure it's not too hot. It's a myth that you have to curl lashes before you apply mascara. You can curl lashes after mascara application, just make sure the mascara is dry first. Shu Uemura makes the most popular eyelash curler on the market ($18-$22).

Tip #9: Zig-zag the wand. Zig-zagging the wand back and forth during application helps cut down clumps.

Tip #10: For a dramatic look, apply mascara only to the upper lashes. To make eyes seem wider, apply to the bottom, too. But make sure you give lashes a light touch. Not great at getting those bottom lashes? Try putting a tissue under them before application.

Tip #11: Use a mascara primer. Primers coat lashes and separate them before you apply mascara. Makeup artists swear by mascara primer. I tried it and like it, but because it's an added step, I usually use primer only on special occasion when I spend more time on my makeup.

Tip #12: Want that 2nd coat? Just make sure to do it before the first coat dries, otherwise you'll get clumps.

Tip #13: Do NOT pump wand in and out of the tube. This only introduces air into the tube, which will cause your mascara to dry out sooner than it should.

Tip #14: Another smudge-proof tip -- bend the wand. A top makeup artist once gave his secret to his steady hand: he always bends his wand at a right angle.

Tip #15: Wait five seconds before blinking. You don't want to paint your lids, do you?

    Bronzer:

    1. Pressed Powder Bronzer Use a pressed powder bronzer for a lightly-toasted look. Wet the powder bronzer and it transforms into a sheer cream that glides on to add intense color to eyes, lips, and face. For a sun-kissed sheen, dab a small bit of bronzer powder on your forehead, chin and nose. Make sure it doesn't look like a stripe. You can also apply a bronzer to your shoulders and neckline to warm up your skin and enhance a tan. Bronzers are perfect for year-round sun-kissed radiance. Some bronzers have a herbal or floral scent and a light sunscreen.

    ------------------------------

    2. Sunless Tanner and Bronzer Get a healthy-looking glow instantly with a sunless tanner and bronzer. A sheer bronzer provides a hint of immediate, temporary, natural--looking color. A good bronzer allows you to see where you've applied it to help eliminate mistakes. A sunless tanner and bronzer looks and fades like a real tan. Some bronzers are oil-free and absorb and dry in less than 5 minutes.

    ------------------------------

    3. Deep Tanning Bronzer Some bronzers instantly provide a deep, rich, robust tan. These bronzers are designed for people who want to darken their existing tan dramatically and contain coffee bean extracts. A good bronzer contains triclosan to help eliminate bacteria that can cause after-tanning odor. Quality bronzers are enriched with Vitamins E and C to help minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Some bronzers contain sunscreens.

    ------------------------------

    4. Aerosol Bronzers Bronzers come in pressed powder, liquid or aerosol form. An aerosol bronzer is lightweight and oil free, contains vitamins and botanicals, and can be applied over foundation or used alone. An aerosol bronzer can create an instant airbrushed radiance.

    ------------------------------

    5. A fresh and natural look in makeup would be wearing a tinted moisturizing cream, a light blush or bronzer for your cheeks, a light coating of mascara and lipgloss. Let your natural beauty show through!

    ------------------------------

    6. Bronzer Tanning Lotion Bronzers are an excellent makeup tool for women on the go. Apply a bronzer tanning lotion sparingly around hairline and eyebrows. Wash the bronzer off your hands with soap and water immediately and avoid contact with clothing until the bronzer is dry. Wait one hour before bathing or swimming. A sunless tan develops in two to four hours and lasts for days. Reapply the bronzer as needed to maintain or deepen color. Some bronzers come in SPF 20.

    ------------------------------

Brush On Bronzing Powder - With a circular motion, lightly coat the brush end with bronzing powder.

Cheekbone Using a circular motion, start powder application on the cheek apple and brush on bronzing powder back to meet the hairline. (Smile while applying; this brings out the cheek shape for easier application). Reapply to create stronger color intensity and cheekbone shaping.

Jawline Using a circular motion, apply bronzing powder onto jaw line and brush down below chin. This effect defines the jawbone for a stronger facial profile and defined chin shape.

Forehead Using a circular motion, apply bronzing powder above eyebrow and gently brush outward on forehead down onto temple area. Apply over both eyebrows. This effect provides contour for a stronger facial profile and shape.

Nose and Lip Using the brush side, brush down lightly applying bronzer to each side of the nose and under the lower lip. This effect will thin the nose shape and make the lips appear larger.

    Foundation:

Begin with clean hands and a clean face

Apply a moisturizing sunscreen that's perfect for your skin type. All foundations will go on more smoothly if the skin is well-hydrated.

Let the moisturizer set for a few minutes.

Wipe off any excess moisturizer with a tissue. Greasy skin will make the foundation slip and slide.

Camouflouge your dark, under-eye circleswith a concealer.

Using a makeup sponge or the tips of your fingers, apply dots of foundation on your cheeks, chin, forehead and tip of the nose.

Using the sponge or your fingertips, blend the dots together. Pay special attention to your hairline and jawline to ensure there's no obvious line where the foundation abruptly stops.

Set the foundation with loose powder immediately after application.

    Tips:

You don't have to put foundation all over your face. Try spot-fixes for those areas that need coverage (likely around your eyes %26amp; nose %26amp; on your chin).

Don't want to go all out with a foundation? Tinted moisturizers may be all you need if your complexion is dewy, but you want a light, sheer wash to even out blotchiness. My favorite tinted moisturizer is by Bobbi Brown.

The tips of your fingers work well, but I like to use a sponge. Make sure %26amp; wash out the sponge well so it doesn't start harboring all sorts of nasty bacteria. These Wonderpro sponges are cheap %26amp; work perfectly.

    Lipgloss:

Lip gloss and lip shine comes in tubes and pots that are convenient to use and give a shimmer and shine to your lips that you have always wished for. They can last for long periods of time and can be water-resistant. They can be applied either over the lipstick or alone for a more natural and nude lip look. Lip-gloss helps to add more volume to your lips and make them look fuller and highlight them on the face. Thus, women with thick lips are generally advised to use it very sparingly. One can effectively make the lips look more beautiful with the help of lip gloss and other lip products and use it strategically for lip correction. A light film of Chapstick over lips not only protect them and heal them but also helps the lip color to set more effectively.

Similarly, dusting the lips with powder can make the lip color and gloss last longer and do not melt easily. In fact the best method to use lip color for long periods of time is to color your lips, blot off the extra color using the tissue paper, apply thin layer of powder on them, again apply a second coat of color and complete the process by applying lip gloss to make your ships look shinier than ever. While you can add the shine to your lips by applying gloss on them or above the lipstick, you can also tone down the shine by application of too much gloss, hold a single-ply tissue against your lips and press little loose powder through it. Only a bit of it will get sifted through it and will instantly reduce the shine. Lip lacquer gives a greater shine to your lips for stage shows and extremely glamorous look.

Lip-gloss directed to the center of the mouth makes your lips look fuller while you can avoid matte lipsticks from drying and flaking by using a lip primer or color fixative before applying it. Special effects and highlights can be achieved by using sheer silver, gold or iridescent lip gloss over lip color. For evening special effects, apply a sheer lip-gloss in silver, gold or an iridescent shade over the lip color. Vitamin E is good for lips to give them a natural glow while lip balm must be applied before applying lipstick to keep your lips moisturized, nourished and naturally rosy. It also prevents the lips from drying and developing of cracks. Lip gloss add the emphasis to the lips but smooth lips make it easier to glide on and lip gloss lasts longer on them. Even, if you are opting for a matte lip color; apply the lip balm before applying lipstick. Use creamy lipsticks for daily use to keep the lips moisturized and add an intense wet look with the help of lip gloss while transforming your makeup from daytime look to a night party look.

    Lipstick:

Tip #1: Lipstick done? You might notice there's still a bit of lipstick down in the tube. Scrape out the last bits with a cotton swap or orange stick %26amp; mix it with Vaseline or lip gloss in a lipstick palette. Use a lip brush to apply.

Tip #2: Never use a test lipstick on your lips. It's just plain unhygienic. Instead, test lipstick on your fingertips. It's a closer fit to your lips than the back of your hand.

Tip #3: Use liner on your lips as a base. Lipstick will last longer if you fill in your lips with the liner first. If you're using light lipstick, try a nude liner. Then slick your lipstick on top.

Tip #4: Never use a dark liner with light lipstick. Defined lips are great, but make sure the liner matches the lipstick or gloss. Dark liner and light lips is tacky.

Tip #5: Keep lipstick off your teeth with this trick. This is a trick I learned years ago from my mom. After applying lipstick, take your index finger and pop it in your mouth, then pull it out. The excess lipstick will come off on your finger rather than your teeth.

Tip #6: Lipstick can act as a blush. But never use blush as a lipstick.

Tip #7: Youcan line before or after you apply lipstick or gloss. Some women prefer to apply liner first, arguing that you won't be able to see the natural line of your lips if you apply lipstick first. But I find lips look more natural when I line lips after I apply lipstick.

Tip #8: The older you are, the 'creamier' your lips should look. Women over 50 should avoid matte or a gloss and stick with a creamy lipstick.

Tip #9: Don't throw out a bad color lipstick. Beauty editors know you can create a great lipcolor by blending lipsticks you don't like. You can also color in lips with a darker liner before applying a lipstick that's too bright.

Tip #10: For 'plump' lips, apply liner just outside your natural lipline. Dab a bit of gloss in the middle of your bottom lip.

Tip #11: Keep lip gloss on longer with liner. Lip gloss is infamous for wearing off fast, but if you fill in lips first with the liner, the gloss has something to stick to.

Tip #12: Heal -- don't throw out -- a broken lipstick. If your lipstick breaks off, simply take off the broken portion with a tissue, then slowly wave a lit match under the broken piece of lipstick. When it's melted a bit, put it back on the base, swivel it down and put it in the fridge -- uncovered -- for 30 minutes.

Tip #13: Avoid orange or brown shades, including corals. They tend to make teeth appear yellow.

Tip #14: Camouflage yellowed teeth. To downplay a yellow cast to teeth, try lipsticks with a bluish undertone. Shades that work include plums, pinks, wines and violets, according to Lazarus, a NYC makeup artist, in the June, 2007, issue of O magazine.

Tip #15: Keep lipstick off glass. Discreetly lick the lip of the glass before touching your lips to it. It works!

Tip #16: Experiment with blending lipsticks and glosses. Real lipstick aficionados create their own lipstick shades by blending different color and even formulations. You can start with a matte lipstick, follow with a shimmery shade and cap it off with a colored gloss.

    Eyeshadow:

    http://www.expertvillage.com/video-serie鈥?/a>

These eye shadow tips will help you figure out the shape of your eyelid so your eye make up application can enhance your natural beauty. The shape of your eyes and eyelids determine which part of the eye area you need to shade or highlight.

Something that everyone can do regardless of eyelid shape is to apply high lighter to the brow bone (above the eyelid and below the eyebrow). Now, the amount of visible eyelid will determine if you need to highlight your eyelid or apply eye shadow to shade it.

If you are not sure about your eyelid size, go to the nearest mirror and take a good look at it. Is it puffy or just right?! Make sure you are looking at yourself squarely and not at an angle. Then come back and compare with the pictures below

Applying Eye Shadow Tips to Shade and Highlight...

    Prominent Eyelid

If you have this eyelid you want to make the eyelid look smaller and thinner. So shade the eyelid and the crease of the eye and highlight only below the eyebrow, not the eyelid.

    Hooded Eyelid

With this type you want to make it look like there is more eyelid. Apply high lighter on the eyelid to make it look larger. Shade the crease of the eye only and spread the eye shadow outwards to join the corners of the eye.

    Deep Set Eyes

This is the most versatile shape because you can either highlight or shade the eyelid (of course, you don't want to do both at the same time ;-). Make sure you shade the crease of the eye and apply high lighter just under the eyebrow.

    Smokey Eye:

    Here's How:

Prep the lid. The key to keeping eyeshadow from melting into your eyelid crease as the day goes on is to kept eyelids oil-free. To do this start with an eyeshadow base (also called ';primer';). I prefer to dab at bit of MAC's 'paint' on lids before shadow application. Or try Fresh Freshface Perfecting Eye Primer.

Apply eyeliner. If you're going for a typical black, brown or gray smoky eye, apply liner in one of those colors above the upper lash line, drawing line thicker in the middle of eye. If your opting for a jewel-toned eye (violet makes a gorgeous smoky eye), line eyes with a purple, blue or deep green liner.

Blend in color on bottom lashes For color on the bottom (a key smoky eye look) you'll want a lighter eyeliner. The key is to ';smudge it.'; You can also apply a bit of shadow to get full smudge effect.

Apply light base color Again, the key to a smoky eye is pairing a lighter base with the darker hue. I prefer a nice cream shade for my base. Sweep a light, shimmery shadow over the lids to your browbone. I love Stila's whipped eye shadows $20. The moist ';mousse'; consistency seems to stay on forever. My favorite colors are taupe and pearl.

Blend in darker color, but keep dark color below the crease. Now that you have the base and eyeliner on, it's time to get the smoky effect. You need a darker eyeshadow shade. Using an eyeshadow brush blend in color starting at your lash line, blending up. Make sure to blend color into the lash line so the eye liner disappears. Stop deep color at crease.

Doublecheck your work Make sure eyes match and blend color with a Q-tip if need be.

Finish with several coats of volumizing mascara. Tried and true mascaras (featured in ';Elle'; magazine's March 2006 issue) include DiorShow Mascara %26amp; L'Oreal Paris Volume Shocking Mascara. Elle's writer says they are the best volumizers she's tried.

    Tips:

Remember to keep lips nude. When applying strong makeup (like smoky eyes or red lips) put the focus on either eyes or lips, never both. (Think Angelina Jolie: She either plays up her huge eyes or her huge lips, never both. If she did, she'd look like a clown).

    For a bit of fun, try a blue or purple mascara. It will make blue eyes ';pop.';

Liner doesn't have to come in pencil form. Makeup experts know eyeshadows make some of the best eyeliners. To do this take an eyeliner brush (available at Sephora, MAC or any dept store), wet it, then dab wet brush into the dark shadow. This allows for a deep, precise line. You can also use the dark shadows without wetting brush first. Either way, eyeliner is necessary for smoky eye.

This season go jewel-toned (blue is great for you blue-eyed girls) and keep your eyes smoky but stay away from dark browns and black. Instead, go for a deep purple, a gold-brown or any of the many vibrant colors in this year.

    What You Need:

Eye primer (you don't need it, but it's great for keeping shadow in place)

2 Shadows: One light, one darker

    Eyeliner

    Makeup brushes

    Mascara
