I am 15 years old, and need some easy homemade recipes for my face and hair.
I have an oily T-zone. Please don't recommend Proactive, I have tried it and it doesn't work for my skin. I already drink a lot of water.
I have thick, black hair. It is slightly prone to dandruff, so something non greasy would be appreciated.
Also, any tips for makeup? I have tan skin, I like to play up my eyes. I wear mascara, eyeliner, bronze eyeshadow, and lip gloss.
Thanks so much in advance! What are some beauty tips you have learned through experience?
My biggest beauty secret is that I scrub my face every few days with plain white sugar mixed with a little water. It helps get rid of my nasty blackheads and leaves my skin so smooth. The frequent exfoliation seems to help with my oily t-zone as well. I am also on Differin and the sugar scrub gets rid of the dry skin Differin causes.
My favorite shampoo is Sunsilk Anti-Flat. It's cheap, smells great, and gives my usually flat hair body. What are some beauty tips you have learned through experience?
Never use Sun-In.
Don't use a moisturizer too often if you have oily skin-- it will just make you break out.
Easy on the sunscreen. Definitely need to use it, but make sure you get the dry-touch, not oily kind. Even helps to use a matte powder with SPF in it.
Use chap-stick.
Always take a shower/wash your face after you sweat a lot.
Wash your face iwth warm water and just a drugstore face wash (Biore Ice Cleanser works well), then pat dry at least once day, if not twice.
Try to avoid the Sun if at all possible.
Always wash off your mascara.
Use brown mascara if you have lighter lashes.
Don't ever overpluck your brows. If you do, use an eye pencil to lightly fill them in.
Don't pick at pimples.
Don't use a conditioner if you have finer hair.
Don't use a straightener too often. And keep the heat low.
If you want the back of your hair at the scalp to poof up a little more, spray a little hair spray back there beefore blowdrying.
Don't overdo it on the eyeshadow, or blush or brozer, for that matter. Less is always more when it comes to make-up------you want it to look natural, not like you are wearing make-up.
Try out Crest White Strips.
These are all just little things that I have found over the years. Hope they help. They truly come from experience. Best of luck.
ummm, how about taking a shower and puttin on some body spray, thats my daily routine.
if there is onething i have learned through other peoples experience its that
1-shaving off your eyebrows and drawing them back on.
like nobody esle knows that marker eyebrow isnt natural.
2- Cakin on the make-up doesnt make you extra cuter... its makes you look like a clown.
no seriously. it does. proof:? mimi from the drew carey show
3- Eyeliner should be used to line your eyes not give off the impression of a black eye.
too much eyeliner makes you look like a domestic abuse victim.
5. Focus on a main feature. Play up your eyes and smack on some lipgloss. Have a subtle features so people can focus on what siginicate feature.
Have you tried the Clinique 3-Step thing?
It has the wash and the toner and the lotion.
and the clarifying gel lotion is really good for oily skin, because its really light.
it also does not cost a fortune.
ok...well what i use for my skin is Clean %26amp; Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit...its similar to Proactive but i think it works really well. And keep ur hair tied up in a pony tale ALLWAYS.And yess...keep drinking water and eat fruits that are good for ur skin...i know that apple's are so eat atleast 1-2 a day.And as for ur hair if its oily then get a shampoo and conditioner that says for normal to oily hair or daily clarifying. And as for ur eyes get a light-medium brown color and put it on ur eyelids and then get another eye shadow thats a lil bit darker than ur skin tone and put it ABOVE the first color and NOT ON IT or as u can say put it on below ur eyebrows.Pluck ur eye brows or get them waxed if not allready. And wear black eyeliner and mascara. And there u go.And allways wear matching fashionable cute trendy clothes!! hope i helped!!! bye
I'm 22 so I've had many beauty ups and downs!!! Have you tried a toner for your oily tzone? You also want to look for a facewash and moisturizer labled for ';combination'; skin. As far as makeup, it sounds like your already doing pretty good. Keep it simple. Your goal is to look like the best version of yourself, not someone else!
I love Tresseme products they are affordable and make your hair really silky.
Uhmm first of all for acne go to the dermatologist. They will give you a prescription for stuff that will work for you. I am on an acne and oil control medicine (like a cream) and it works great. Seconds of all I recomend Pantene it will make your hair super soft. I have oily hair too and it works well for me.
As for make up- just don't over do it, guys don't like it. Good luck
